As another year slowly draws to a close, we wanted to give you a small peek into the “who and what” of our lives here at Vintage Crates. Every order we receive is lovingly handled and with so many personalisation options to choose from we have some involvement in almost every single one.

With the exception of the Vintage Crates we sell, almost all of our products are available in a variety of colours. Netty is our resident artist, expertly wielding her brush to paint products like our Apple Crates and Boxes to your specifications.

Want a personalised message on your crate? Look no further than our Personalised Apple Creates and Boxes, all of which are carefully hand stencilled by Rob, giving you something truly unique.

And let’s not forget our every popular Seat Crates, each one delivered with a hand-made cushion, beautifully fashioned by Michelle.

Sourced from far and wide

But how do we get our crates, you might wonder? We put as much care and attention into finding and selecting the right products to sell as we do in preparing your ordered crates. We love visiting Antiques Fairs and finding those elusive original branded English Crates.

But of course we don’t just sell English crates! The other vintage branded crates we sell come from far and wide. Our American Soda Crates, for example, are sought out in the US and brought into the company by Tramps, a company local to us who – like we do – loves ensuring that quality vintage items are not lost to the world.

And we don’t just sell crates! Have you seen our Vintage Wooden Sledges? A perfect addition to any Christmas tree, these sledges are brought over from Germany by some Dutch friends at Jan van der Vlist.
